Why Free Workshops?
In 1987 the Lord put me into ministering to homeschoolers through workshops. It was a great surprise to my wife and I to see Him not only create the burden in our hearts, but to see him take a man who was a TERRIBLE public speaker (trust me - before 1987 I was BAD!) and do a miracle. We are constantly amazed and God's grace to enable me to not only encourge the hearts of thousands, but to discover that they think I'm actually a pretty good speaker. He is a God of miracles!!
Since we started the workshops we have always presented the workshops for no fee. Even as I've traveled to speak at conferences around the country it has always been a gift of love from our family.
Two years ago God began to burden my heart that there were other families thinking about homeschooling, struggling with the panic and intimidation that is so common among new homeschooler, and who needed immediate help and encouragment ... not waiting until a conference might come to their area. The dream grew of taking the workshops and making them available online where anyone could access them at any time - without any charge!
Graciously God open some doors of support, especially from Robert Brayton with Cinenosin Film Academy. Robert and his wife had been blessed by the "How to Homeschool Successfully Beginner Series" twelve years before, and he offered his services as a professional videographer to video tape all of my workshops so that we could provide them to you.

When a kid arrives in our homes we don't automatically know how to effectively deal with the conflicts that also arrive. The principles of good discipline are not genetically passed down to us ... we have to LEARN how to be a good parent. As we were struggling to become good parents we discovered some principles that have helped us, and knew there were many other parents that would appreciate some encouragement on how to be more effecitive in discipline. You will be excited to discover some application of Biblical principles that can bring greater peace and happiness to your home.
